Revival makes winners

"All of us can win!” says Pastor Kathy,” no one has to fall away." Sharing her secret for a winning race, she adds, "This is a race, not a trial. You’ve got to determine if you’re going to stay in this or not. Self-discipline is what makes winners."   Pastor Kathy shared from 1 Corinthians 2:24-27 in her message on Saturday January 9th, imploring members and visitors at World Revival Church to stop disqualifying themselves with aimless living. “Set your sights and live by the Spirit of God,” she encouraged.   She named two ways that people disqualify themselves: 1. Living with a mind frame that says “I’m too old” or “I’m too young” or “I’ve made too many mistakes.” 2. Living with attitudes that haven’t been submitted to the Spirit of God, like instability, moodiness, complacency, apathy and immorality.   God moved in deep ways that night as Pastor Kathy prayed for hundreds to be set back on course with God. Many received a new freedom and strength to win!   Shaina said prayer changed her that night when Pastor Kathy called for people to come forward who were disqualifying themselves. "I responded and I felt the fire of God on me. I felt God. I feel new!"   Taylor, a teenager from Kansas City, shared about the hopelessness that had come over her in the past year - and the fresh anointing she received when Pastor Kathy prayed for her."I can run! I can do this race!" she proclaimed.   "I felt like a person on the outside looking in,” Greg told the congregation. “I always wanted to be a part, but stuff from my past was holding me back.” He received powerful prayer and testified about a new commitment he had made to God to be a part of what He’s doing in revival.   Winners are being made through this revival that’s touching the world.
