World Revival Church Academy

Thank you for your interest in World Revival Church Academy! It is a pleasure to introduce you to our school and the wonderful opportunities available to your child. In our 10th year, WRCA now includes Kindergarden through 12th Grade.

WRCA continues to offer academic excellence as evidenced by our national scores on the Iowa Test of Basic Skills, as well as strong, faith-based curriculum preparing students for true spiritual and academic success.

Teachers

WRCA employs fully certified and experienced teachers who bring compassion, skill, and godly influence into the classroom. The low student-to-teacher ratio enables children to receive maximum attention as they endeavor to achieve academic success.

High Tech Curriculum

Computers are an integral part of WRCA, giving the students of WRCA an academic advantage in a technological world. WRCA will continue to use ABEKA, Alpha Omega, and quality secular-based curriculum for a comprehensive academic program. The phonics and math-based program in the lower grades has continued to produce strong readers with excellent comprehension abilities.

Enrichment Courses

WRCA is now offering a new schedule for the 2010-2011 school year: Academic and enrichment courses take place Monday through Friday. This unique schedule has been carefully developed to further enhance the education process. An array of enrichment courses are offered such as Band, which gives students the opportunity to learn different instruments. Yearbook, Exploratory Music, Physical Education, Creative Writing, Integrated Art and Journalism are also offered for the upper grades. Additional offerings for the elementary grades are Reading Enrichment, Math Enrichment, Music, Art, Physical Education and Computer Education.

Standardized Testing

Every year, WRCA students participate in national standardized testing using the Iowa Test of Basic Skills. Students continue to exceed expectations, many scoring as high as 3-6 grade levels above the norm in several academic areas. Many students who have initially come to WRCA with below-average abilities have scored at grade level or above!

Believing that firmly-rooted Christian values and superior academics can also be affordable, WRCA strives to keep tuition costs within the means of families seeking alternatives in education. WRCA gives opportunity to all families in the Greater Kansas City area while making efforts to maintain the highest standards of excellence in both faculty and student enrollment.
