Pastor Steve Gray often reminds viewers and visitors to the Kansas City revival that this is “a revival of the people.” What you see on screen or in person at World Revival Church is happening in and through the people - including the youth!
“Quit entertaining your youth!” exclaimed Pastor Kathy Gray to youth pastors worldwide after hearing several youth share their testimonies of this past weekend.
Shawn, a youth from Kansas said, “I came into this place completely bored, angry, oppressed and hurting.” He made it a point to get prayer and the change was amazing. “I look in the mirror like: ‘who are you?’ I can raise my hands now and I’M SMILING.”
“I was raised in church,” shared Jordan from Mississippi. “I looked like I had it all together.” Looks can be deceiving, however, as he told us that at age 13 he began having suicidal thoughts.
Jordan’s trip to Kansas City changed everything for him. “I didn’t realize what was missing until now. This is what I was praying for. I’ve never felt so free in all my life!” With plans to attend World Revival School of Ministry this fall, Jordan is moving forward in God.
“I’m wowed by it!” said April, describing the presence of God she felt in WRC services.
16 youth and their leaders visited this past weekend from Saskatoon, Canada. “Youth pastors, you need to come,” said Pastor Renee, youth pastor for Faith Alive Church, a church that has been touched by revival through the ministry of World Revival Church.
Renee adjusted his youth ministry for what God was doing with the youth that were touched by revival in his church. “They won’t need programs, they won’t need anything else!” he shared.
