Hope and healing go hand in hand at World Revival Church and is making a difference in the lives of U.S. military personnel. Knowing that revival can touch even the deep wounds that war sometimes inflicts, Pastor Steve and Kathy Gray are reaching out to soldiers in the Wounded Warrior program at Fort Bliss in El Paso, Texas.
Staff Sergeant Stuart Noel, a member of World Revival Church of Kansas City, is stationed at Fort Bliss, working with the servicemen in the program, most of which suffer from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Many of these men are hopeless and medicine is not bringing freedom to them from the sights and sounds of war they have had to endure.
Recently a shipment of Pastor Steve Gray’s book “Hope Heals” was sent to these wounded warriors. Believing that God’s will is always to heal, Pastor Steve’s book connects readers to the heart of God for healing to happen in their lives.
Armed with this tool of hope, Stuart has given these books to the men in the program he serves as well as the chaplains throughout the program. He tells us, “’Hope Heals’ offers them freedom from tormentors, guilt, shame and depression. Hope will come to those wanting their lives back!”
The congregation of World Revival Church prays regularly for U.S. servicemen and women, including a list of the wounded warriors at Fort Bliss. If you have friends or family serving in the military and would like to add their names to our prayer list, click here.
