·         Worlds of Fun - even Pastor Steve and Kathy find their way out to this amusement park from time to time for a fun-filled afternoon. Bring along a change of clothes and enjoy Oceans of Fun while you’re there!

·         Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art - for the more culturally-minded, this museum is a great place to relax. Bring along a lunch and picnic on their beautiful grounds or enjoy their classy restaurant inside.

·         Country Club Plaza - SHOPPING IS NOT JUST FOR WOMEN! The kids and the guys will enjoy the plaza with its interesting shops and unique restaurants.

·         Bass Pro Shop - okay, equal time for the guys here… but again, they’ve got a great restaurant plus a nice woodsy trail to walk on if you need a break from the shopping.

·         Kansas City Royals - what about those Royals? Get in on a baseball game while you’re in Kansas City… and don’t forget about the Chiefs that start up late summer. Should be a great season this year for both our hometown KC teams.

·         Kansas City zoo - everybody loves the zoo! Get a little sun while you’re enjoying the animals and this scenic setting.

·         Union Station - cooool stuff here! Great exhibits… hands-on displays for the kids… Science City and a WHOLE lot more. Plus shopping and restaurants all in walking distance.
