Blog written by young adults of World Revival Church - “All blessing and glory and honor and power be unto your name forevermore." Energy and excitement flooded the room as we entered into God's presence as a corporate body of Young Adults in revival worship this week. Each one of us hungry, longing for more of God in this Kansas City group at World Revival Church.
“We are a very diverse group, all with different stories…but we come in here pushing and worshiping like we've done this our whole lives. We haven't, but we are bonded by the Spirit,” claimed Rand Lohman, the Young Adult leader, as he looked into each of our eyes. “You all look like one.”
Each of us came prepared to speak on baptism. Many of us had the privilege to share and minister the revelation we had gotten about baptism as we studied the Word this week. We distinguished that there is a distinct difference between fire and water baptism…in their purpose and function.
Mr. Lohman spoke from Mark 16:15-18, where it talks about being baptized in the name of Jesus. To be baptized in the name means to be immersed into the character of another. We are immersed in the character of Jesus. This changes things in our lives and gives us the empowerment of God!
It is so cool hearing the different revelations from each young adult. Each Wednesday we meet and have this awesome training and learning experience.
We study during the week and come in prepared to share what God has laid on our hearts. Come join us next Wednesday, August 3rd at 7pm in the Education Building at WRC as we speak on Jesus as the Lamb.
