Pastor Dick Drumeller wanted a healthy church with people willing to serve God wholeheartedly after visiting Steve and Kathy Gray's church in Smithton, Mo., nearly 14 years ago.
"The Smithton Outpouring (now World Revival Church) changed my life radically and it continued to change us each time we went back," said Drumeller, pastor and founder of Crystal Brook Church of Independence, Kan.
Drumeller set to work preaching the same challenging message that had impacted him in the Grays' church to his congregation. Although it wasn't easy, his congregation has transformed into members who are ready to serve the Lord. They meet Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday..
"I saw the heart of honor and of worship at World Revival Church and in the World Revival Network. And that is the heart of our church here," Drumeller said.
Drumeller said he relies on a partnership with the World Revival Network(WRN), a ministry arm of World Revival Church, to keep him connected to revival resources and ministry support.
J.D. King, national director of World Revival Network, said the network strives to empower ministers and help them become more effective in their ministry.
"Over the last ten years, I've worked closely with Pastor Dick Drumeller, focusing on the growth and spiritual health of his local congregation. In addition to discussing sound administrative strategies, I've been able to actually visit his congregation to encourage faithfulness and revival in his people" King said.
Drumeller said Crystal Brook is a spiritual hospital, helping people experience a genuine touch from God that brings true healing.
"What excites me most now is that we are starting to draw people straight out of the world. People who are disillusioned with religion or have never been to a church," he said.
Crystal Brook Church is reaching out with the power and presence of God in various ways. They recently completed a major remodeling to their 22,000 square foot facility, with room for 400 to 500 people. They also operate the Healing Chapel, a prayer chapel inside their facility inspired by WRC's House of Hope and Healing, where those needing physical, mental, emotional and spiritual healing can come to receive prayer.
Pastor Drumeller and his church stay connected to WRC through streaming video and the World Revival Network.
"Over the years there have been so many times where the network and WRC have been a lifeline," Drumeller said. "They have been a rock."
"We have faithfully supported the ministries of WRC and WRN," he said. "Because of that I believe we get to tap into that same anointing and heart that is there."
