Hi and welcome to my blog! I'm James Koppang, Youth Pastor here at World Revival Church.
I have been a part of this church for 11 years now, man time flies when you are having fun! I have been working with the youth for 8 years, 5 of those being the pastor.
One thing I have learned in revival is that it changes everything, including how we do youth ministry!
Youth Ministry is no longer about babysitting or entertaining, but raising up powerful young people who expect to change the world. It becomes more about making sure that another generation continues in revival than a place that pacifies little Jr's worldly attitude and lukewarm heart, just to keep mommy and daddy's billfold in the church!
Youth ministries no longer have to try to compete with the world's thrills, lights and smoke. We have the one thing that the world cannot offer our young people. And that is the Presence of God! Revival causes us to stop the entertaining, stop the babysitting, stop the candy feeding and get to what really changes the lives of our youth, being touched by the power of God.
Like I said revival changes everything!
