It's a lot of fun working with Steve. And we've been working together full-time ever since we got married. Well "fun" may not be exactly the right word to describe living and working with him. Let me put it this way. When Steve asked me to marry him these were his exact words, "I can't promise you we'll be rich. But I can promise you that we'll never be bored!"
That settled it for me.
I've never been bored since. Steve is a great, challenging leader and has always been my trail blazer. Whether it's finding creative new ways for our church to reach local businesses by featuring them on The Steve & Kathy Show, or writing uproarious skits that challenge the quality of SNL, or preaching world-class sermons that shake up the religious status quo, Steve refuses to let himself and anyone who comes into contact with him settle for the easy way out.
Fortunately for me, in all this excitement, I get to live life way beyond the normal. I'm not bored! And I am rich in opportunities and experiences that I never would have dared to reach for on my own.
Yes, it's a lot of fun working with Steve. But one of these days I may ask for just one boring afternoon to try to catch my breath!
