One of my very favorite scriptures is Psalm 57:9. From the very first time I read it so many years ago, I knew it was mine – and now I’m getting to live it!
“I will thank you, Lord, among all the people. I will sing your praises among the nations.”
Our trip to Poland confirmed it to me: the nations are open to our message. They’re hungry for revival and a true move of God. Steve and I were really overwhelmed by the tremendous response for the people we now call friends in Europe.
I believe that this scripture is becoming many of yours, too. There’s a stirring in your heart for people in other countries. You’re sensing the responsibility to sing out God’s praises to the nations.
My prayer for the nations is found in verse 11 of Psalm 57, that God would be exalted and that his glory would shine over all the earth. Together, may we be the ones to carry that light, to carry his glory globally.
He will be exalted – and I pray it will happen through you and me.
