“My heart is burning to reach more people - and to let the Kansas City metro area know we’re here!” shared Pastor Kathy Gray this past weekend, as World Revival Church North stepped into a new location in the Northland of Kansas City.
“The new location allows us to do more and reach more people in Kansas City,” Pastor Steve explained. Service times at the new north address are Sundays at 10:00 a.m., and plans are in motion to add mid-week services and new member classes.
Children’s ministry is offered for kids ages 0-5 at the North church and mirrors the infant and toddler ministry at World Revival Church. It’s a fun, safe atmosphere where kids learn Bible lessons that will stay with them for life, helping them grow strong in God.
Jim and Sherry Weedman serve as care pastors at WRC North, taking care of the new congregation through the week. “You’ll be greeted by a very friendly face and a smile when you visit,” shared Jim. “Plus, we do our best to duplicate the life-changing presence of God that WRC is known for worldwide.”
WRC North has a unique format that brings together the best of what World Revival Church has to offer. Worship is led by the north’s own full worship team, with other volunteers helping with greeting, prayer ministry and the children’s ministry. Sermon messages are streamed live from the main WRC campus with messages from Pastor Steve or Kathy Gray.
“I tell people that we want to give them the very best possible experience,” Jim shared. “Pastor Steve and Kathy Gray are the most reknowned leaders of revival in the world. I like the live connection so that our north congregation can receive from them.”
