History was made at World Revival Church this weekend as churches around the world connected for online interactive services streamed from Kansas City. Congregations in Canada, Finland, Holland and the U.S. were linked as a result of Pastor Steve Gray’s desire to unite believers worldwide in revival.
Unique to this interactive connection is the relationship the churches share. Although other churches may be joining campuses online, “This is historical because this connection is simply by the Spirit,” shared Pastor Steve. “There’s no denominational, legal or financial connection.”
What connects the churches is a desire for revival and to have a greater impact for Christ in their nations. Worship leader for his church in Holland, Simon’s first exposure to World Revival Church was through the Daystar TV broadcasts. “The presence of God was coming in like a wind,” described Simon.
When the opportunity to connect interactively with WRC came about, the church rushed to get ready. Located in the country, they had to take extra steps to link up. To them it was worth it all, because, as Simon relayed, “We have the desire to have the presence of God!”
Changed and restored through their personal visits to World Revival Church, Simon and his pastors are hoping to see their congregation experience that same life-change through the interactive services.
