Worshipers gathered from 17 states and three countries this past week at World Revival Church for the Respond Worship Conference. End result: God was exalted and lives were dramatically impacted with a fresh perspective of worship!
Day sessions began with worship led by guests Roy Fields, Jennie Riddle, Michael Farren, Jaye Thomas and WRC’s Dustin Smith. Evening worship times added to the cumulative effect of roaring worship ascending to God, and testimony after testimony coming forth as attendees experienced God’s presence in powerful ways.
“God has given me more of a focus of Christ-centered worship,” shared Michael who traveled from New Jersey to be in the meetings. “Each of the guests brought the presence of Christ,” he added.
Bailey leads worship at Faith Alive Church in Canada. “Every session, I was filled with life! It’s like a window was opened in my life.”
“I cannot wait to go home and give what God has given me,” shared Janelle, who pastors with her husband in Michigan.
Worshipers were encouraged to draw near to God throughout the conference. “Make sure he has a place to abide,” Dustin exhorted Wednesday, setting the tone and pace for the conference.
“God is looking for us to press in – no matter what – for what he’s promised,” added Roy.
Jaye Thomas summed it up, “We can’t get satisfied with where we’ve been, where we’ve gone. There is more.”
