The holidays can be a stressful time for your finances, but many in revival are experiencing just the opposite! Let your faith be stirred with these financial testimonies:
• Timbrel, along with her husband Erik, started a cleaning business while still maintaining a part-time job. Timbrel began to feel the spirit nudging her to quit her part time job to focus on her new business.
She decided to quit the job December 31st of 2010. Erik and Timbrel spent the remainder of the year tithing faithfully and praying for God’s favor over their business. Since that time, they’ve experienced provision in their finances and a substantial increase in clientele for their business.
• Nathaniel, a recent college graduate, was trying to find a job for his degree in student teaching. Many skeptics were reminding him of how hard it would be to find a job halfway through the school year. Ignoring the naysayers, Nathaniel didn’t give up and soon found a job!
Nathaniel shares, “I didn’t believe in [God’s] favor before. I felt undeserving. But God’s favor was pouring out!” Nathaniel is continuing to believe and build his faith for a full time teaching job in his classroom that will be coming open this year.
• Another anonymous family of World Revival Church also shares that the company they worked for was not doing well last year and told all employees that there would be no bonus. This family made a decision to use their faith and pray for God to intervene.
Their prayers were answered as the company paid out a bonus of $13,000 to all employees. This year, the same scenario played out and they once again began praying for God’s favor. As expected, the bonus came and it was $1000 more than last year’s $13000 pay out!
