“In revival, we fight for life on every level,” declared Kathy Gray recently on “Sanctity of Life Sunday” at World Revival Church.
Since the Roe vs Wade decision in 1973, over 53 million lives have been lost to abortions. “It’s time to choose life,” Pastor Kathy shared. Speaking to women who have gone through abortions, she encouraged, “If you’ve made mistakes, today is your day to choose life.”
Grabbing on to the words of encouragement, Anna took the opportunity to receive prayer and healing for an abortion she was forced into years ago. “After the abortion, I spent the next 10 years of my life trying to kill myself,” she told us.
Anna tried everything imaginable to break free from the guilt and anger she felt. Drugs, alcohol, suicide… but nothing eased the pain until she went forward for prayer after Pastor Kathy’s message.
“It was like - in an instant – it was lifted off!” she exclaimed. “All the weight… the anger, the bitterness, the resentment.” She was given a new lease on life that day because of the powerful healing touch of the Lord.
“I know it’s going to be okay. I have God on my side,” Anna shared. And to women who have gone through abortions, she encouraged, “God can get you through this.”
