Get the word of God ruling in…
1. Your mind! Change the way you think and get the power of the Holy Spirit helping you conquer this battlefield. Learn God’s way to silence certain thoughts, capture others and throw the rest away that are in opposition to God’s way of thinking!
2. Your money. Money is a master and you’ve got to break the power of its grip! The easiest way to break the grip is to give - and then expect God-things to happen according to his word.
Pastor Steve speaks to his money, “Money doesn’t tell me what to do - I tell it! You will not return to me empty handed!”
3. Your eyes - you need to be able to see! Change what you see by no longer looking at things from a worldly point of view, but from the high places God has seated you in!
See people better than yourself. See with eyes of faith. See who you can become and are becoming!
4. Your heart. “Everybody’s got a story of ‘somebody did me wrong,’” Pastor Steve explained. “I work hard to keep my heart free by putting a guard on it - and making a decision to not let all the bad things rule my life. Why can’t the good things rule?”
Make a decision today to get free by the power of the Holy Spirit. Don’t let the bad clog up the beatings of your heart!
5. Your spirit! The sons and daughters of God are spirit-led. You have to start letting the Spirit of God dominate your life! “Don’t live with a recessive spirit,” Pastor Steve encouraged. “Start small if you need, to, but start practicing spiritual dominance.”
Some areas to try to conquer are how much sleep you need, how much entertainment you allow yourself, and the biggie - how much food you’re going to let your body have! Remember, Jesus would never have gone to the cross if he had let his flesh dominate his spirit!
You can walk into your destiny if you’ll start living a life dominated by the Spirit of God. Tap into God’s power and let God’s word rule in these areas of your life. You’ll never be the same again!
