A common word or phrase you hear around revival a lot is the "fire of God."  Having a burning, fiery presence of God on you and in you is a pretty good sign of revival life happening, both in you and your church.

Today most everyone is well aware of the horrific tragedy that has assaulted the nation of Japan.  An earthquake with accompanying tsunami's of epic proportions dealing untold death and destruction.  At the same time there is increasing unrest and conflict throughout the Middle East.  Our world is obviously in turmoil and greatly in need of help. 

Proverbs 18:24 in the NIV version reads, "A man of many companions (friends) may come to ruin, but there is a friend that sticks closer than a brother."  Many people in your life may be acquaintances or "friends" in a general  sort of way and this kind of "friend" or person will not necessarily be of any help to you.  However, the Bible makes it clear that there is a kind of friendship that is greater or stronger.  Jesus spoke of the love of a true friend when He said in John 15:13, "Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends."  Jesus was expressing the tru

What & Why Are You Eating?

Visitors to WRC often ask about the level of energy, commitment, passion and ministry demonstrated by this congregation.  Why do they come to four sevices a week?  Why do they stand, shout, sing or whatever so much?  What is it that makes them stand out to our visitors and those that watch live video streaming?  I would like to use an illustration that most are familiar with to answer these questions.
